GP Surgery

Your GP surgery is the ideal place to visit if you’ve been suffering from a persistent illness or injury that doesn’t appear to have an obvious cause. Appointments are free and can be booked at your surgery’s reception or by phone.

Your GP will cover the following:

  • Vaccinations
  • Flu clinics
  • Health consultations
  • Blood tests
  • Prescribing medication
  • Diagnosing illnesses or injuries
  • Carry out simple surgical operations
  • Physical examinations

They also offer:

  • Health education & advice
  • Smoking, alcohol, and diet advice

You can also get help and advice from your GP’s Out Of Hours service.

This is available between the hours of 6:30pm – 08:00am weekdays and 24 hours on weekends or bank holidays. Simply ring your GP Surgery and you will usually be directed to an out-of-hours service if you require help or advice outside your surgery’s operating hours.
